We’re Aniel & Taylor, owners of happy fed tallow, a family based small business that loves quality, locally sourced & simple products with pure ingredients.

We both loved simplicity before we got married (one of the many things we had in common when we were single) and started to look for it in every area of our life together once we were married.  The more simplicity we brought into our family, the more space we had for joy and the more time we had for others. One of the biggest areas we first simplified was what we eat! We researched an ancestral diet which we loved- and that quickly spiraled into wanting simplicity in everything we put not just in our bodies, but on our skin and in the air around us. We wanted to eliminate toxins, and add more quality ingredients, minerals, and good fats. To get rid of the harmful things and replace them with what our bodies were craving. From the fibers in our clothing, to soaps, skincare, and everything in between.

From that desire of simple & ancestral living came the idea of Happy Fed Tallow. We want to use tallow that comes from cows that are fed right with grass, because that makes happy cows and good fat. That is the only tallow we want to put on our skin.
